Tybee Tank & Dress by Lily Giggle

I am so excited about the latest pattern coming from Lily Giggle- the Tybee Tank & Dress! I decided to sew up the dress version for my test although I already have several tops planned in my head as well. Such a precious pattern for summer!

I went for a classic look with the black and white polka dot knit accented by solid black waist and top bands. The straps, bands, skirt and top are all separate pieces so you could have a lot of fun mixing and matching your fabrics.

The straps cross over in the back to make a sweet little "X". The straps are interfaced to give them some added strength and stability. 

The pattern ranges from size 2 all the way up to a girls 12. There are instructions included for adding a shelf bra to the top or dress as well for those older girls that could use this support. It can be made as a top or dress and also has an optional bow for the front.

As with all Lily Giggle patterns, Beth gives excellent tips for sewing with knit fabrics. The pattern pieces can be printed nested or a single size at a time. And, there are quick sew instructions at the start of the pattern followed by the detailed photo tutorial. That circle skirt is the sweetest!
